by Many people started their gaming journey with Project IGI way back in 2000, for most gamers it was their first experience of FPS games. The second part of IGI was released in 2003 and since then no sequel of IGI was announced for many years. After a long wait in 2019, finally the trailer of IGI Origins came on internet which was released by Toadman Interactive. The trailer gave a glimpse of entirely change look of IGI in terms of gameplay and graphics. The game was given a release date of 2021 but not released due to many new updates and changes they were trying to implement.
Later on, a new release date was given and game was supposed to be released somewhere in the mid of 2022, but that doesn’t seem to be happening so far. According to Toadman Interactive, they are still working on the game in terms of innovations in graphics and better gameplay experience.
According to the latest update, they are developing IGI origins on Unreal Engine 5 and it will provide a great gaming experience to FPS gamers. Due to these updates, IGI Origins is going to be released somewhere in 2023 and surely we will get an official release date soon from Toadman Interactive.
